Vimy Ridge Academy is dedicated to building and strengthening pride in Canada by providing our students with an academic focus on Canadian Studies in combination with alternative programming in our Canadian Studies Program , sports, dance or music. All our programs emphasize the character traits of perseverance , commitment, leadership, physical fitness, and citizenship. Our academic focus, Honours and Advanced Placement classes assist our students to realize their achievement goals and provides a distinct advantage when it comes to pursuing both post-secondary education and their career(s).

Through many innovative partnerships, we offer a broad range of opportunities for students in Grades 7 to 12. Our students, regardless of their educational focus get involved with all aspects of school life, extra-curricular activities, and community events.

Flexible timetabling enables students in all our programs to pursue their academic studies while continuing to improve their performance in their respective programs of choice. Our music program is second to none. We provide the only opportunity in public education for students to hone their skills in a top performing pipe and drum band. New this year are our programs in recreational sports, golf and lacrosse.
